Three in hospital after car hits house

THREE people have been taken to hospital "as a precaution" after a vehicle slammed into a home on Brisbane's northside tonight.

Police, ambulance and fire crews raced to the home on Main Avenue at Wavell Heights after 7.10pm on Friday.

It is understood a wall of the single-storey brick house collapsed as a result.

A Community Safety spokesman said no one was trapped or injured from the house.

Three occupants from the car were taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with minor injuries "as a precaution".
