STUDENTS and teachers taken to hospital after a classroom science experiment went wrong have been discharged.
Thirteen high school students and two teachers from Moorebank High School, in Sydney's southwest, were taken to Liverpool and Bankstown Hospitals after they were exposed to a sulfuric-based solution in a science classroom about 3pm (AEST) on Thursday.
All have since been discharged, a hospital spokeswoman told AAP.
A total of 120 students and teachers were evacuated from the school and sent home after the mishap.
